Dr. Cavince

is a Research Associate with the China-Africa Center. Cavince is a PhD holder in International Relations from the Central China Normal University Wuhan, China (2022). He also has an M.A in International Studies from the University of Nairobi and a B.A in Linguistics and Literacy Studies from Moi University. Previously, Dr. Cavince has worked as a project-based consultant for national and international organizations like the US Agency for International Development, the European Union, the African Union, and the Japan International Cooperation Agency. His area of research focuses on China – Africa Studies and Geopolitics. He has published articles in local and international newspapers on issues related to China-Africa Relations, Peace and Security, Development, Intercultural cooperations among others thematic topics. He is also a regular commentator on local and international media.
