Ms Naidu

is a Political and Foreign Policy expert located in Cape Town. Her research encompasses South Africa's foreign policy, democracy, development, and political economics of Africa's international relations.

Her attention has also been concentrated on South-South Cooperation and the African imprint of growing countries, namely China and India. She has a master's degree in international relations from the University of Staffordshire in the United Kingdom.

She is currently employed by the Institute for Global Dialogue as a Senior Research Associate. She previously managed the South African Foreign Policy Initiative (SAFPI) at the Open Society Foundation for South Africa and worked at the Cape Town-based Centre for Conflict Resolution. She oversaw the Fahamu (a social justice movement network) initiative on China and Emerging Powers as well.
