Our policy-relevant research presents the past and current state of play, implications for the future and options to inform policy decisions. Because of its strategic location in Nairobi, the Institute has a vantage point in monitoring, engaging key actors and conducting field-based research.

In addition to books and peer-reviewed articles in professional journals, API experts publish over 400 short articles in key media outlets and API website. Our research and knowledge is shared through:
